The theme of the project is

the representation of Time within Space through a series of cross references to symbols, forms and lines in the rooms of the Palace.

From the Labyrinth

symbol of the Company identity, are derived within the space a number of exhibition areas, with partitions separating the lounges, and mysterious details gravitating around it. In this universe dominated by the Labyrinth, watches represent the stars that harmoniously gravitate around their sun-centre.

The circle

intended as an extended point, is the primary figure: perfect, immutable, with no beginning, no end, and no variation, it symbolizes infinite Time, cyclical and universal, recalling planetary revolutions, the annual cycle of the seasons, the rotation and orbits of the celestial bodies. The circularity and the references invite to discover spaces placed inside the store.

The design is three-fold

and combines respect for functionality and ergonomics (structural dimension), the allegorical expression of Time (aesthetic dimension) and the meeting of circular orbits on an orthogonal space (architectural dimension).

Innovation is two-fold

from the commercial standpoint, the space is a Temple that houses watches intended as divinities of Time. From the aesthetic viewpoint, there is a full representation of the concept of Time, drawing the visitor to discover the world of Watchmaking.

Situated at the centre of Milan, in Via Verri, the Flagship Store combines the elegance of a historic Palace, the atmosphere of a Lounge dedicated to Haute Horlogerie and the solemnity of a Temple of Time. Vittorio Carena, in art 7, on the occasion of the 75th anniversary since the founding of Pisa Orologeria, wanted to communicate a clear message in terms of architecture and style: a full interpretation and expression of the identity of the Company.
